Please feel free to contact the school office anytime to register your child. We do work with new students who start during the school year to assess their learning and make the academic transition as smooth as possible.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE: Due to changes in requirements this year, Fridays will be 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. from the beginning of school until Thanksgiving break. After Thanksgiving break, Fridays will revert to their normal 8:00-12:00 time. This means students will need to bring a lunch on Fridays until Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving break is the divider.
Please feel free to email Lorna with any questions about registration or school. I’m here to help with any forms, documents, etc. The teachers have awesome things planned for this new year as well as continuing some fun school traditions, and as always, the whole staff is praying hard for the students and our upcoming school year together.
New students save 25 percent on their enrollment fee. Returning students save 10% on their enrollment fee by signing the Intent to Enroll form and making payment on the enrollment fee by June 30 before the upcoming school year.
COVID plan
We continue to follow state and local directives and recommendations to keep our students safe, such as handwashing. Masks are not required.
We're right across the street from our sister school, Upper Columbia Academy (grades 9-12), so the two schools stay mostly on the same calendar schedule. Our schedule provides time off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break, as well as days off periodically during the year. You can view the calendar using the button above.
Washington state now has a health registry (WAIIS) that contains immunization information for Washington residents, including students. Vaccination Exemption forms are also available to fill out.
1. For new students, a parent will need to turn in a signed and dated CIS (immunization record) form as part of the registration packet to give consent for access to your child's immunization record. It's easiest to simply ask your pediatrician to fax your child's immunization record directly to the school at 509-242-1633 (or email it to info at ucaes dot org).
2. If you're a returning student and Washington resident, you only need to turn in a signed CIS form at registration each fall.
