Multipurpose Room Use

BOOKING

To book an event, please contact Lorna Hartman (509-599-9010) to receive the reservation link. Payment may be required depending on the event; you'll be provided with the correct booking link.

Filling out the booking form will add your event to the schedule, but the event is not yet booked.

  1. If your event requires payment, the event is booked when payment has cleared. Once that happens, a date confirmation email will be emailed to you so you know the booking is finalized. 
  2. If payment isn't needed for your event, a date confirmation email is sent to you to let you know the booking is finalized.


FACILITY ACCESS

There are two options for accessing the Multipurpose Room for your event. Multi-day events require Option 1.

Option 1. Fill out the Key Checkout form below, bring it, and provide a $100 (returnable) deposit to check out a loaner key. The deposit will be returned to you in full when the key is returned. You can return the key to any UCAES staff member who's around, or make arrangements with Lorna Hartman while booking for key pickup after the event. Dropping the key into the mailbox by the front door is not secure. Please make sure you return the key to an actual staff person.

Option 2. Contact Kristy Plata or Lorna Hartman (contact information above and below) to arrange ahead of time to have someone let you in and then lock up afterward. This is subject to staff availability, and it means you won't have your own key, but it works pretty well for one-day events.
 


GUIDELINES

  1. The kitchen doesn't meet commercial standards for food preparation, so food prep from scratch is not allowed in this kitchen. Your food, however, can be cut, warmed, plated, refrigerated, frozen, decorated, arranged, etc. There are 3 ovens, a stove, a refrigerator and freezer, and a microwave.
  2. Glitter and confetti (including inside balloons) and thrown rice are not to be used. 
  3. Items that are moved out of the Multipurpose Room for events must be moved back to their original location afterward.
  4. Event duration entered in the form should include the time you need for setup and cleanup.
