Registration and Classes

Please feel free to contact the school office anytime to register your child. We do work with new students who start during the school year to assess their learning and make the academic transition as smooth as possible.

Once again this school year, Fridays will be 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Please feel free to email the school office with any questions about registration or school. We’re here to help with any forms, documents, etc. The teachers have awesome things planned for this new year as well as continuing some fun school traditions, and as always, the whole staff is praying hard for the students and our upcoming school year together.

School Schedule

We’re right across the street from our sister school, Upper Columbia Academy (grades 9-12), so the two schools stay mostly on the same academic calendar schedule. Our schedule provides time off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break, as well as days off periodically during the year. You can view the calendar using the button above.

Looking for a Christian school with strong academics? Ways UCAES benefits your student:

  7. Full state accreditation: UCAES is accredited by the National Council for Private School Accreditation, the Washington Federation of Independent Schools, and others
  8. Daily prayer, spiritual leadership, and character guidance
  9. Rural setting with plenty of fresh air and room to play and learn outdoors
  10. Extracurricular events and programs such as winter skiing and snowboarding (part of our PE program), ice skating, trips to educational and fun locations such as Mobius Discovery Center, Vaagen Lumber, Spokane Waste to Energy, Spokane Fair, Green Bluff, and more
  11. Outdoor School at Camp MiVoden each year for 5th and 6th-graders
  12. 7Up Spiritual Retreat at Camp MiVoden for grades 7-8
  13. Participation in the Upper Columbia Academy TechnicArts Fair and the annual UCA Band/Choir Clinic for 7th and 8th-graders
  14. High school algebra, band classes, and the equestrian program at Upper Columbia Academy are available during 7th or 8th grade, if qualifications are met (and scheduling must be worked out); taking these classes is a special arrangement between UCAES and UCA

Immunization Information for Registration

Washington state has a health registry (WAIIS) that contains immunization information for Washington residents, including students. Vaccination exemption forms are available if your pediatrician doesn’t have them.
